Texas Style Hot Sauce

La Casita Hot Sauce, a local Texan salsa brand, was taken in for a jar and label redesign. While trying to keep true to their original salsa flavors and mission, the idea was to find something slightly more direct to the name. “La Casita”, meaning “little house”, sparked a fun and illustrative design with some Hispanic inspiration. The challenge was to also find a way to make them appear cohesive as a group, but also correlate the variety of flavors and heat/spice levels. Each different heat level reflects in the illustration elements on the label. The hotter the salsa, the hotter the flames burn on the little house.
